At FESPA 2025, taking place from May 6-9 at Messe Berlin, Germany, Sun Chemical will showcase its extensive portfolio of digital printing solutions under the theme ‘Experience. Transformation.’ Located on stand D40 in Hall 1.2, the company will highlight innovations across graphics, textiles, and industrial print applications. The focus will be on cutting-edge digital solutions designed to drive business innovation, efficiency, and sustainability.

Wide Format Graphics

Sun Chemical will introduce Streamline Toccata, a new water-based ink tailored for poster printing and corrugated display applications. This ink leverages advanced dispersion and resin chemistry to meet the high durability and image quality demands of display graphics. It is compatible with clay-coated materials, enabling businesses to transition to aqueous display graphics printing.

Additionally, Sun Chemical will debut a new low-viscosity UV ink technology for printheads like the Epson i3200. This ink, available in CMYK, white, and varnish, eliminates the need for heating within the printer, making it ideal for graphics and UV Direct-to-Film markets. Visitors are encouraged to explore this technology during the event.

The Streamline eco-solvent ink series will also be featured, offering low-odour, GREENGUARD Gold-certified inks in cartridges, pouches, or bulk supply. Updates to the Streamline ESL 2 and Ultima inks will be showcased, ensuring compatibility with Epson i3200 and Brother printheads. The Streamline TVL 2 and TEL2 series, available in 500ml pouches, will also be highlighted, with new orange and green inks enhancing the color palette for eco-solvent inkjet printers like Roland’s TrueVis SG2 and VG2.

Textiles

Sun Chemical will officially launch Xennia Sapphire, a pigment ink range for textiles delivering bold colors and high resistance across cotton, polyester, and blended fabrics. These inks, available in low, medium, and high viscosities, cater to a wide range of digital textile printers. Featuring Sun Chemical dispersions, Xennia Sapphire inks ensure excellent wash fastness, durability, and color performance. Unlike traditional dye-based inks, they require only dry heat for fixation, reducing water usage in the post-process.

Also on display will be Xennia Jade, a Direct-to-Film ink range offering vibrant colors and high-opacity white. Designed to overcome traditional challenges, Xennia Jade ensures superior quality, stability, and reliability for seamless production. Sun Chemical’s textile portfolio will also include ElvaJet Opal and ElvaJet Topaz sublimation inks, Xennia Amethyst reactive inks, and Xennia Agate acid inks—all developed to meet stringent environmental standards and textile certifications.

Industrial Printing

Through its SunJet brand, Sun Chemical will showcase innovative ink and process solutions for industrial applications, including graphics, décor, direct-to-shape, and packaging. The company will also highlight collaborations with OEM partners, system integrators, and printhead manufacturers.

For industrial applications spanning automotive, aerospace, electronics, packaging, and displays, Sun Chemical’s screen and pad printing team will present a comprehensive portfolio. Additionally, the SEPAREL degassing module range, developed by DIC Corporation, will be featured. These modules optimize ink performance with minimal pressure loss and compact sizing.

Commitment to Innovation and Sustainability

Peter Saunders, Global Director of Digital, EM, and Screen Businesses at Sun Chemical, expressed excitement about returning to FESPA, noting it as an ideal platform to engage with customers across diverse markets. He emphasized the company’s dedication to driving digital print innovation, enhancing process efficiencies, and supporting sustainable business transformation.
